FactionFab Titanium Front Brake Shims, D1539

Add a thermal barrier between your front brake pads and caliper pistons with FactionFab's 1.0 mm titanium brake shims. Designed around the FMSI D1539 pad shape, they help limit heat transfer into the caliper during demanding track and autocross use.

Fitment

Pad shape and caliper configuration determine compatibility, not model year alone. The supplier lists D1539 applications for 2011–2014 WRX, 2013–2024 BRZ, 2018–2024 Toyota 86/GR86, and 2013–2017 Scion FR-S. These are supplier-listed year ranges and may vary by market; confirm your actual pad shape before ordering.

Do not assume compatibility with Brembo-equipped trims, performance packages, or aftermarket brake kits. Verify the D1539 shape and available clearance with your brake installer.

Installation and Track Use

Have a qualified brake technician verify fitment, shim clearance, and proper brake operation. These shims supplement a properly maintained braking system; they do not guarantee prevention of brake fade, fluid boiling, or brake failure. Follow the brake pad and vehicle manufacturers' service guidance.
