Whistle B Gone Kit - 2022+ WRX w/ Aftermarket VA Style STI Spoiler

Eliminate spoiler whistle noise on your VB WRX when running VA STI-style spoilers. If you've installed a VA STI spoiler on the VB chassis, you may be experiencing an annoying whistling sound caused by disrupted airflow around the center span. The angle of the mounts and the lines running along the bottom of the center span create turbulence that generates this noise.

The Whistle B Gone Kit solves this problem by creating an air bridge that blocks these lines, smoothing airflow and eliminating the whistle. Available in various colors to match your spoiler finish.

Installation

Ideal Conditions: Install in the shade at 75–85°F with no wind.

You'll Need:

• Quick detailer (wax-free) for cleaning
• Microfiber towel
• Supplied application fluid, squeegee, vinyl/PPF, and Gortex patches

Steps:

1. Prepare the surface: Clean the bottom surface of the spoiler with wax-free quick detailer. Installation can be done on the vehicle with a helper, but removing the spoiler makes it easier.
2. Apply fluid: Spray application fluid generously across the entire target area on the bottom of the spoiler (see product photo for placement).
3. Position the vinyl: As you peel the vinyl from the backing paper, spray it with application fluid to prevent bunching. The vinyl will span all three lines under your spoiler. Center it carefully — the slit in the center of the vinyl should span two of the lines.
4. Squeegee: Once properly aligned, use the felt end of the squeegee to push out air and application fluid from the center outward.
5. Apply Gortex patches: Place the two supplied Gortex patches over the exposed lines. These patches allow trapped fluid to dry and evaporate while providing 100% coverage across all lines.

Result: Silent, whistle-free driving with your VA STI spoiler on the VB chassis.
