Subaru never updated the tail lights on the 2015–2021 WRX / STI — but if they had, it might have looked something like this. These precision-cut red vinyl overlays transform the clear hockey-stick section into a sharper, blade-like design, giving your tails a subtle facelift that looks like it could have come from the factory.

Overview

Available in red. The goal is a clean, straight line that blends naturally with the lower red portion of the lamp. Refer to the last photo for installation placement tips.

Installation

1. Clean the tail light surface thoroughly.
2. Use a wet install method — mix water with a small amount of dish soap.
3. Start placement from the lower corner closest to the trunk.
4. Slide into position, aiming for a straight line with the lower red lamp section.
5. Use a soft squeegee or fingers to push out air bubbles from the center outward.
6. Allow to dry in sunlight, or use a hair dryer on low heat to accelerate curing.
7. Once fully dry, safe for power washing and automatic car washes.
