The ACUITY 1879 Hall Effect Throttle Position Sensor replaces the wiper-style TPS on compatible RSX Type-S, Civic Si, and JDM Integra Type-R applications. Its contactless sensing design and onboard signal processor are designed to deliver smooth, consistent throttle-position readings without a sliding electrical contact.

Not compatible with the base-model RSX throttle body or wiring harness. Do not assume compatibility with other trims, drive-by-wire systems, or engine-swapped vehicles. Verify the installed throttle body and harness before ordering.
Installation & Calibration
Follow ACUITY's installation and calibration instructions to set the sensor within the specified OEM range. Replacing a TPS is not a guaranteed cure for idle or throttle-response faults; diagnose the existing sensor and related systems first.
