Perrin 02-07 WRX/STI Front Mount Intercooler Core | PSP-ITR-400-1BK

The Perrin Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) kits for the 02-07 WRX & 04-07 STI deliver massive performance upgrades. Designed for 500–800hp applications, Perrin's enormous bar-and-plate intercooler core (28" L × 9.25" H × 3.5" D) provides exceptional cooling capacity. Cast aluminum end tanks and a high-flow core ensure even airflow distribution and an optimized intake charge temperature.

Perrin's FMIC kits mount to a powder-coated boxed steel replacement bumper beam with 1/2" thick mounting plates—no cutting of stock structural components required. While exceptionally sturdy, this beam is designed for off-road use only. The kit uses an OEM-type triangular BOV flange compatible with stock-style WRX & STI blow-off valves and is positioned to reuse the stock recirculation tube.

Important Notes:

• Cores and piping kits are sold separately. You must purchase one of each to make a complete kit.
• Foglights cannot be retained with this intercooler installed.
• Trimming of front bumper plastic is required for fitment.
• Not compatible with stock airbox; an aftermarket short ram intake is required.
• Hard fuel line relocation is required—professional installation recommended.
